Redefining Hybrid Driver In-Ear Monitor
Truthear is proud to introduce its 🔈 hybrid driver in-ear monitor - the HEXA. It adopts the polyurethane suspension composite liquid crystal dome diaphragm and dual-cavity internal magnetic circuit dynamic driver of N52 magnet. Its hybrid driver configuration promises to deliver spectacular sonic performance.
Powerful Integration of 1DD + 3BA
The Truthear HEXA hosts 🔈 one dynamic driver + three balanced armature drivers hybrid structure. A 10mm specialised dynamic driver is responsible for bass. The mature internal magnetic circuit has a flexible polyurethane suspension material and an LCP liquid crystal dome diaphragm. This design architecture allows the HEXA to reproduce the punchiest bass and meet the needs of accurate distribution. A composite full-frequency balanced armature driver is responsible for the mids, which matches the frequency band of the specialised dynamic driver. A custom-balanced armature driver, similar to the WBFK series, is responsible for the highs, which allows HEXA to reproduce a smooth, clean high-frequency performance through fine processing.
Accurate Hybrid Frequency Division
The Truthear has incorporated an accurate hybrid frequency division technology in the HEXA. High-precision DLP-3D printing technology allows the acoustic waveguide structure with filtering functionality. The RC frequency division achieves an "accurate" frequency response making the four drivers perform well under different corresponding acoustic waveguides.
Delivers a Smoother & Warm Presentation
HEXA offers a more robust bass response. The transition between bass and mids is natural. The highs of HEXA are very detailed, delivering a different hearing experience with different eartips. It produces a more natural sound with silicone eartips, whereas some high-frequency resonance peaks are suppressed with foam eartips, resulting in a smoother and warmer presentation.
New-Generation DLP 3D Printed Cavity Design
The Truthear HEXA has an elegant minimalistic design that is eye-catching. The DLP 3D printed cavity from HeyGears is equipped with its medical-grade high-transparency resin, internal colouring, and delicate surface grinding process. It can realise complex acoustic waveguide structures while ensuring printing accuracy and efficiency. It also brings a lightweight cavity to fit well in the contour of your ears and has skin-friendly and reliable cavity materials.
CNC Anodizing Sandblasting Metal Faceplate
The HEXA offers a square but smooth ID design, which can compress the cavity volume as much as possible on the premise of ensuring the wearing reliability to make sure that it can have a lighter weight. The CNC anodizing sandblasting metal faceplate reduces the auricle touch to release the pain caused by long-term wearing. Moreover, the aluminium alloy faceplate is locked by screw self-tapping and fixed by glue.

Do these really sound better than Wireless Earbuds?
Wireless Earbuds are no doubt convenient. But they usually sound pretty ordinary. These IEMs, although wired, are designed and built with the goal of just delivering brilliant sound. Keep in mind, wireless earphones, pack in batteries, Bluetooth receivers, electronic components and speakers that add to their cost and can end up at several times the price of an equivalent sounding wired earphone. And so, for the same budget, wireless earbuds can sound pretty ordinary compared to wired IEMs. If sound quality is a priority over convenience, wired IEMs come out ahead in terms of price, and significantly in terms of sonic performance. Wired IEMs have always been the audiophile’s top pick.
How will this IEM make my music sound any better?
Good sound should be able to help you imagine the artist performing right in front of you in the same room. Artists take a phenomenal amount of time and effort to record music at the finest studios around the world to capture every detail in the music. The headphones’ job is to be able to reproduce all the details and take you back to the studio. The Truthear HEXA IEMs will help you rediscover your music. You should hear clear, revealing and enriching details in the music that you may not have noticed before. It's tuned to reproduce all elements in the soundtrack naturally without placing an excessive amount of emphasis on any particular area. The sound is powerful and revealing, with the ideal balance of lows, mids, and highs between the instruments and vocals.
How do I use these IEMs if my phone doesn't have a 3.5mm output?
If your phone doesn't have a 3.5mm output, you can use a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter for android phones or a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter for Apple iPhones to connect the Truthear HEXA IEMs. Alternatively, the best-sounding option is to go for a USB Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) to connect your IEMs. A good DAC makes a considerable difference to the overall sound of your set up and these DACs are highly capable and outperform inexpensive adapters. If you are looking for the best presentation of your music then a dedicated USB DAC is the way to go.
Do I really need a Digital To Analog Converter (DAC) or Amplifier to use these?
You don't necessarily need a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) or Amplifiers to use the Truthear HEXA IEMs, as they can be plugged directly into the 3.5mm output of your smartphones, tablets or laptops. They usually have enough power to drive these Earphones. However, using a dedicated DAC can improve the overall sound quality and provide a more detailed reproduction, especially if you are listening to Lossless or Hi-Res music.
Why do these IEMs have detachable cables?
IEMs don’t usually get damaged. The cables can get damaged with usage. So it’s easy to replace them if they are conveniently detachable. Detachable cables allow you to swap out different kinds of cables. These can feature materials that make a difference to the sound signature or different termination types like 2.5mm or 4.4mm, which are sometimes needed to plug into various devices. Balanced Cables are upgrade cables that make a significant difference to the sound quality when used with a device featuring a balanced output, usually a 2.5mm or 4.4mm output. Swapping the cables for a Balanced cable allows you to take advantage of the balanced output on your DAC or Player and can improve the bass, soundstage and resolution of your IEM.
