When the circuit is energised with an audio signal it interacts with the Proprietary magnet array that moves the diaphragm back and forth, creating a larger-than-life sound. Further, the double-sided magnet arrays deliver a uniform driving force across the entire diaphragm for a near-zero distortion. LCD-2 Classic harkens back to the first headphones Audeze sold, with a unique offset magnet array that gives the sound a broad, deep sense of space. The driver tuning lends a tube-like character to the forgiving, yet clear sound signature.
